All eLearning courses have three distinct & mandatory components:
- Cognitive learning
- Hands on skills practice
- Hands on skills testings
In order to receive a course completion card for your online training you must complete all of the skill requirement for the course.
Part 1: Cognitive learning
Students who successfully complete part 1 will receive a completion certificate that will need to be presented to an approved American Heart Association BLS Instructor in order to complete parts 2 & 3
Part 2: Hands-on skills practice
This 30 to 60 minute session will give the student time to review and practice the skills they’ve learn in part 1 with their instructor.
Part 3: Hands-on skills testing
Final part of the online training is your skills testing. Please know that it is the responsibility and to the sole discretion of the instructor to provide remediation or fail any student who requires additional practice or learning.
